On this page are recent events in the family. On June 22 Kinny Parks, Alison and Jason Birsic came to visit Polly at Carleton-Willard Village. It has been many years, and Mom really loved seeing them. On June 17 my Aunt Lorraine Sayward passed away. Diana and I traveled to Randolph, Vermont for the Memorial Service and Reception. The next day my cousins Joan and Bill came down to visit Mom with their spouses, Tony and Kathy.

Our annual 4th of July party included two cousins from Dad’s side of the family - Didi Cole and Mitty Tichnor, and Diana’s son Toby and his wife Dani, visting from Tucson AZ. It’s been a very familial summer so far! Most recently I spent a week at Pyramid Life Center on Pyramid Lake in the Adirondacks. Unfortunately it rained most of the week, but it was wonderful to be back and see old friends, make new ones and I got quite a lot of writing done!

Family Reunions continued with a Cole family reunion at my cousin Didi’s apartment in Cambridge, followed by 3 days in Maine at the country home of our friends MIchael and Carol Simon. For wonderful photos from our visit to the Simons, visit Rodger’s website.
